Chess board update

Dear Reader,

We hope you are enjoying your Summer!

Unfortunately we can’t deliver the chess board that you ordered on time. Actually we are already late. Our apologies for that and also for the delay in communication.

Due to Corona the whole of Sri Lanka has been in a hard lockdown for over 6 weeks. In the past 2 weeks the lockdown has softened, so the artisans have started working full time on our project again.

This cooperation has exceeded our expectations though; for all challenges that just come with woodwork, we have been able to find solutions together, just because of their amazing creativity and craftsmanship.

If we don’t encounter further setbacks, we expect to deliver the chess boards by the end of August. Once again, we are really sorry for this and hope you still have some patience.
